Paper piecing is very time consuming but I find it very rewarding. I have spent days putting pieces together for just a double page layout and thought to myself why am I doing this. Upon completion I know why it is very very rewarding to know you have done it all yourself. No premade embellies just your own handiwork. Here is a page I did a couple of years ago for my daugther's album. There are many places you can gather paper piecing patterns examples are the internet, Colouring in books, Your own drawings etc. And once you have your shapes you can think of things to add dimension to them like buttons, wire, bling, the sky is your limit. Just remember have loads of fun doing it.
